I’m not sure you remember me, but I’ll try my best to remind you. 
My name is Kelly, and about 18 months ago your book changed my life. We emailed back and forth a few times, and I even got the chance to briefly meet you at American Yacht Institute while I was taking Jan’s class (thanks to your advice). This was last October, more than a year ago.
My yachting career was short and sweet, although I can’t say I’ll never return to the industry. I had two temp jobs before landing my real yachting gig, as 2nd stewardess on board M/Y Apogee, a busy 205′ charter boat. I was on board for 9 months, and did a Caribbean season with the boss living aboard, and a Med Season with 5 crazy charters. I saved some amazing money and had a great (but very hectic) experience. I feel I owe you another big Thank You!
